Welcome to the Affirmations page.
I thought it would be a key component to the website to include various affirmations, and words of enlightenment that have helped me from time to time. I have also included some affirmations that do not necessarily work for me, but might work for you. I have learned, that part of the healing process is relearning how I see myself, feel about my future, and my acceptance of who I am right now, as a means to move forward. A shift in how I think and feel I find has been a challenge for me, it has and will continue to be a process of relearning. Affirmations have helped, but are not in my opinion the cure to healing. Simply a small piece of the puzzle.
I hope they help and inspire. Thank you, and enjoy!

>> "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you.
We are meant to shine, as children do. We are born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others"

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years. Gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are the child of the universe, no less than the tree's and the stars; you have a right to be here,. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God. Whatever you perceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations. In the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

Outside my window, a new day I see, and only I can determine what kind of day it will be,
It can be busy and sunny, laughing and gay, Or boring and cold, unhappy and gray,
M own state of mind is determining key, For I am the only person I let myself be,
I can be thoughtful and do all I can to help, Or selfish and think just of myself.
I can only enjoy what I do and make it seem fun, or gripe and complain and make it hard on someone.
I can be patient with those who may not understand, or belittle and hurt them as much as I can.
But I have faith in myself , and believe what I say, and I personally intend to make the best of each day.

>>In the infinity of life where I am, Change is the natural law of my life. I welcome change. I choose to change the words I use. I choose to change my thinking. I choose to change the words I use. I move from the old to the new with ease and with joy. Forgiving makes me feel free and light. It is with joy that I learn to love myself more and more. Changing my thoughts makes me feel good. I am learning to choose to make today a pleasure to experience. All is well in my world.
